It’s no easy task to gather enough signatures to get on the ballot for Iowa Governor, especially when you personally talk to every single person prior to getting their signature. I’m not backed by millions in special interest or political party donations, which is the traditional way that common people lose their voice in an election. My goal is to give a common sense voice back to the land and people of Iowa. Over the next 7 months, I’m hoping to put out some totally new ideas and new ways of thinking about the many platform issues and a long-term vision for Iowa. This can’t be accomplished with one side constantly pitted against the other. It will take all of us, young and old, Republicans-Democrats-Independents, all working together to turn ideas into great ideas. There are so many amazingly talented and dedicated people in our state. I can’t help but imagine all the great things that could happen if only those people were given a true voice and opportunity to help shape the future of Iowa. I’ll be on the ballot under the Clear Water Party (clearwaterparty.com), which is a “non party political organization”.
